Magma

Katia Reiter has led the Guadeloupe Volcanological Observatory for nearly a decade. Alongside Aimé, a young local researcher she mentors, Katia monitors the growing threat of a major eruption of La Soufrière.

As the danger intensifies, the island faces a difficult dilemma: should residents be evacuated to ensure their safety, or should they remain to protect their livelihoods? Amid scientific uncertainty, political tensions, and public distrust of the authorities, Katia and Aimé must confront the consequences of decisions that could change countless lives.

MAGMA is a drama exploring natural disasters, scientific responsibility, and social tensions when public safety collides with political interests and the realities of everyday life
